N2 + BHM Set to Compete in 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship With Pilot Blake Davis
Media, PA – N2, BobbleHeadMoto (BHM) and Blake Davis will be joining forces in 2024 to compete in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship on a Yamaha YZF-R6 with continuing support from Yamaha.
According to N2 Partner Kris Smith, “Our team has come a long way in the last six years of MotoAmerica racing. We initially started in Supersport and have a lot of valuable experience with the Yamaha R6 chassis, so I’m looking forward to putting that knowledge to use with Blake as our pilot.
“Blake joined our team as a very young rider to race a Yamaha R3 in Junior Cup and then quickly graduated to the Twins Cup, where he proceeded to win back-to-back championships and definitely earned a move up.
“Our whole team is excited about going back to a stacked 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport grid with a rider as talented as Blake. I appreciate that Shiloh Salopek will continue on as our Team Manager and Crew Chief along with all of our Twins Cup Championship-winning team members for a run at the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. We’re hoping to put the venerable Yamaha R6 on the box more than a few times. I know that would be a good way to thank Tom Halverson at Yamaha for the support and guidance he’s provided us over the years.”
BHM owner, N2 Team Manager and Crew Chief Shiloh Salopek stated: “I am happy to be continuing the program with N2 and Blake. I am also very excited to be back in Supersport and to fly the Yamaha flag in this extremely competitive class. I believe we have put together a good program for 2024 and I’m looking forward to the battle ahead.”
Blake Davis stated: “I’m very excited and grateful for the opportunity that’s been provided to me by N2, BHM, and Yamaha. I was able to ride in four MotoAmerica Supersport races that didn’t conflict with my Twins Cup Championship last year and that gave me valuable experience on the bike. I loved riding the Yamaha and our team has a lot of data on the R6, which will help me. The competition will be very strong in Supersport, so I want to make sure I stick to my training and testing and be ready for the season.”
