BEi RACING / DUNLOP DEVELOPMENT FIGHTS BACK TO A PODIUM FINISH AT ROUND 3 OF THE WERA / U.S. NATIONAL ENDURANCE SERIES.

BEi Racing / Dunlop Development rebounded from being several laps down at the end of the first hour to a 3rd place finish at round 3 of the WERA National Endurance series and the U.S. National Endurance Series presented by Lucas Oil Products held at the Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Hallett, OK on May 17th. Adapting to the pit stop rules of the hosting organization for this round (CMRA), the team ran the same front US Dunlop N-Tec slick for the entire race with Dustin Dominguez turning the fastest overall lap of the race after the halfway point and Sean Dwyer posting his personal best lap on the final lap of the race.

The start of the race saw BEi Racing / Dunlop Development run with the front group and take the lead but before the 1st hour was up the shift linkage had failed and 4 laps were lost while repairs were made. The team fought back and made up a lap an hour on average to finish on the lead lap in 3rd place overall and 2nd in the Heavyweight class. The BEi Racing / Dunlop Development Team still enjoys a slim lead in the 2014 Endurance Overall Championships.

Billy Ethridge – BEi Racing / Dunlop Development team owner:

“This race was a testament to the durability of the US made Dunlop N-Tec slicks – We double-stinted the rears and ran the same front for the entire race with both riders getting their fastest laps in the 2nd half of the race. I have to thank Dustin & Sean for their excellent riding and my crew for their support, especially Marcus McBain with JRi Shocks.”

BEi Racing / Dunlop Development would like to thank their sponsors for the 2014 season: Dunlop Tires, Suzuki, Vesrah Brakes, MCJ Motorsports, Thermosman Suspension, Spiegler Brake lines, Arai Helmets, Vanson Leathers, Sidi Boots, Yoshimura, JRi Shocks, Motonation, Pit Bull, RK Racing Chain, Super Signs, American Supercamp, DYNOJET, Dion Device and Chicken Hawk Racing.
