Mathew Scholtz was the quickest rider during MotoAmerica Supersport Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at Ridge Motorsports Park, in Shelton, Washington. Riding his Strack Racing Yamaha YZF-R6 on Dunlop spec tires, the South African lapped the 2.5-mile course in 1:44.389 to lead the field of 30 entries.
Corey Alexander was the best of the rest with a 1:44.803 on his Rahal Ducati Moto w/Roller Die + Forming Panigale V2.
Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki rider Teagg Hobbs turned a third-fastest 1:45.387 on his GSX-R750.
PJ Jacobsen was fourth with a 1:45.501 on his Rahal Ducati Moto w/XPEL Panigale V2.
Hobbs’ teammate Tyler Scott rounded out the top five in the session with a 1:45.946.
