Yamaha Lines Up Four to Tackle Australasian Superbike Championship

Yamaha Motor Australia is ready for the challenge of the 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship with no less than four officially supported YZF-R1s ready to roll out on the grid with the Yamaha Racing Team (YRT).

The team’s 2014 line up sees riders Kevin Curtain, Cru Halliday, Rick Olson and Robbie Bugden on board in full blue and white livery for the new season. New Sponsor Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance (YMI) also joins for 2014 as title sponsor. All four factory supported riders will race under the YRT with YMI banner.

“For 2014, we have been able to unify all four riders and our team sponsors to present the Yamaha Racing Team with Yamaha Motor Insurance,” said team owner John Redding. “It again shows the significant support Yamaha and its associated companies have in racing and we look forward to representing YMI in the best light for 2014 and beyond.”
