US National Endurance Series Registration and Pre-Entry Now Open

The US National Endurance Series presented by Lucas Oil will have its opening round March 22, 2014, at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. Pre-entry and Team Registration are open now until the deadline of Thursday, March 13, 2014 at midnight. Post entry is available at the track starting on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 12 pm.

Forms required to sign up a team and register for the CMRA-hosted weekend include a CMRA License Application for all team riders, a CMRA Endurance Team Registration Form, CMRA Championship Endurance Entry Form, and a WERA National Endurance Form. For the purpose of the US National Endurance Series, the CMRA license is free (no CMRA points), and a copy of a current road race license is needed for reciprocity. Pre-entry for this event is strongly recommended as Tech will also be opening at noon on Friday, March 21st.

CMRA forms and entry procedure information is available here: http://www.cmraracing.com/content.php?8-forms&tabid=122. WERA National Endurance Form available here: http://maps.wera.com/forms/?x=1098. Please be aware that a minimum of two rider signatures are required on team pre-entry forms. Be sure sure your transponder number.

At CMRA hosted events, CMRA rules will be used. At WERA hosted events, WERA rules will be used.

All teams entered in CMRA Championship Endurance will be automatically entered into US National Endurance.

Gridding for the 8 Hours of Texas will be done by a combination of overall points and class from both clubs, then order of entry. Visiting teams will be inserted on the grid accordingly, so they will not be starting from the back. Further details will be announced shortly.

The US national Endurance series classes are: Heavyweight, Middleweight, and Lightweight.

1997 and older model 600cc motorcycles are allowed to run in Lightweight endurance.

Visiting teams with conflicting numbers can keep their race number, but will be required to run an “X” after it on their number plates.

Visiting racers are also eligible to compete in the sprint races on Sunday with their weekend license. Registration and pre-entry is now open for the Sunday sprints as well. Deadline for all pre-event registration is midnight Thursday, March 13, 2014.

A Friday practice day on March 21, 2014, is available with Lone Star Track Days. Information and registration are here: http://www.lstd.com/html/index2.html.

Everyone competing at this event is advised to familiarize themselves with the CMRA Rulebook for bike requirements and procedures. The 2014 rulebook is available here: http://www.cmraracing.com/content.php?24-2014-Rule-Book&tabid=123

A detailed event schedule will be posted at www.CMRAracing.com when completed.
