Hookit tracks and measures athletes’ real-time fan interactions, such as new likes, followers, mentions, retweets and shares across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. 

Athletes are given a point for every social interaction and athletes’ scores are updated every hour.

Currently, Hookit Index scores are calculated solely from athletes’ actual fan engagements and not from the overall size of athletes’ fan followings or impressions generated.
