ASRA FIM MiniCup USA Results From Sunday At VIR

ASRA FIM MiniCup USA Round 5 Concludes with Thrilling Finishes at VIR

September 2024 – Alton, VA – The final round of the ASRA FIM MiniCup USA Championship Series took place September 8 at VIRginia International Raceway, delivering an exciting day of racing with standout performances across multiple classes.

Stock 50 Class

In Race One of the Stock 50 class, Cooper Jazikoff edged out his older brother Chase Jazikoff for the win with Douglas Finnerty rounding out the podium in third place. However, in Race Two, Chase Jazikoff turned the tables, securing first place, while Cooper took second with Tasmine Salem finishing third.

Stock 110 Class

Blake Sorrentino dominated the Stock 110 class, taking the top spot in both races. In Race One, he was followed by Christian Berlowitz in second and Chase Jazikoff, who pulled double duty between classes, in third. The second Stock 110 race of the day saw a repeat performance from Sorrentino, with Berlowitz again in second and Jazikoff securing another third.

Ohvale 160 Class

Jase Dill delivered a commanding performance in the Ohvale 160 class, taking first place in both Race One and Race Two. In the first race, Dill was followed home by Connor Raymond in second and Zaal Farhand in third. The podium order shifted slightly in Race Two with Farhand finishing second and Raymond taking third.

Ohvale 190 Class

The Ohvale 190 class saw intense competition with multiple lead changes. In Race One, Mahdi Salem clinched victory, followed by Ulises Weyrauch in second and Williams Dalu in third. Race Two saw Dalu take the win, with Salem finishing second and Weyrauch securing third.

Supermoto Class

Frankie Kagiwada claimed victory in Race One of the Supermoto class, while David White finished second and William Finnerty was unable to finish due to a flat tire. In Race Two, Finnerty made a comeback to take first place with Kagiwada in second and White completing the podium in third.

The final round at VIR capped off a thrilling season of racing in the FIM MiniCup USA, with young riders showcasing their talent and determination on the track. The series continues to serve as a platform for future stars in motorcycle racing, providing an exciting look into the next generation of competitors. Stay tuned for the 2025 Schedule.
