When I was seven, her first road trip with us was to Laguna Seca for the AMA Nationals. She got her name when she was staying in the paddock with us. She was very defensive of her new family and kept barking at Bostrom’s French Bull Dog. Mat Mladin walked by and commented ‘That is one pissed-off Chihuahua.’ “She is actually a ‘Chug,’ part Chihuahua, part Pug. And all monster. He became her favorite racer of all time, and so by default, my second-favorite racer of all time.
