WERA West racer Krystyna Kubran gains new sponsorship for 2014 despite a disastrous 2013 season. A racing incident in May resulted in severe knee damage, yet Kubran managed numerous podium and top five finishes in 2013; ending the season with a personal best top five finish in the WERA West Open (A) Superbike Championship and a Reserve Championship in WERA West’s Women’s Superstock Championship. “I am thrilled to announce significant support from Jeremy Toye and Lee’s Cycle of San Diego for 2014!” Kubran beams. As a result, she’ll be retiring her 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 for a 2013 Kawasaki ZX-10R for the 2014 season. “Graves Motorsports will continue to support my racing, and I’m very excited to be able to showcase the Graves products – exhaust, rear sets, clip-ons, etc. – for the Kawasaki,” Kubran comments regarding the strong ties between Graves and Yamaha. “Graves Motorsports makes products for numerous brands/models,” Kubran clarifies, “and I am excited to showcase the quality performance parts for Kawasaki to the plethora of Kawasaki riders at the track!” In addition to Lee’s Cycle, Kubran is pleased to announce the addition of support from Alessandro Assanti of Bike911, Barry Wressell of GP Suspension/KFG Racing, Tim Godshall of JRi Shocks, Chris Kruzel of Drippin Wet, and Mike Braxton of Impact Safe-T Armor to her program for 2014.
