Post-entry for the races is available at the track beginning 3 pm Friday, October 25, 2013. The weekend schedule kicks off on Friday with the CMRA License School, racer practice and street-rider track day all provided by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races followed by the final 2-Hour Mini Endurance and 4-Hour Big Bike endurance races of the year. Immediately following the races will be the podium ceremony and the CMRA traditional last race of the year Halloween party and Texas barbeque. A huge thanks to Will Boldt and Melissa Tomlinson for organizing games and a costume contest for the kids, as well as the volunteers, donated food, beverages and pot luck for everyone! Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike sprint races. It’s coming down to the wire in the battle for the number one plate between Danny Kelsey and Conner Blevins. Class championships will be decided this weekend! We’re looking forward to a big turnout with great weather and riders from all over the country. So this is the weekend to come out and see some great racing action! The premier sprint race of the weekend is the Breast Cancer Research Foundation/P1 Racing Formula 1 Expert class. Qualifying will be the order of the day for gridding and the qualifying sponsor 212Decals.com is offering $150 cash to the top three qualifiers! The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and P1 Racing have joined forces to help promote Breast Cancer awareness and offer a $600 cash purse to be paid out to the top Formula 1 Expert finishers. The CMRA kicks in another $400 per weekend when the Formula 1 grid reaches 20 or more racers. A portion of each entry fee is donated to Breast Cancer Research and has reached a total donation of $3440 so far this year. Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free.
