GMD Computrack Boston is pleased to announce our new online store, www.computrackboston.com . “With just two clicks, customers can view all the products and services for their bikes,” says Peter Kates, owner of GMD Computrack Boston. “We have some very unique features built into our new site. We set up the store to allow customers to view, compare, and shop for products in a way that is quick, easy and seamless. Two clicks will display all the shocks, fork kits, services and accessories for your bike. By using the ‘Compare’ function, you can compare JRi, K-Tech, Ohlins and Penske fork kits and shocks all on one page. Also we set up the product pages and shopping carts to provide a soup-to-nuts price. The price in the cart includes labor, springs, seals, oil, bushings, everything to complete the installation. The customer does not have to worry about extra costs, or even shipping. We pay for shipping to and from us on all orders over $500. You can even click on the ‘I need a shipping box’ option and we will send out a box for your forks, with a return shipping label. “We also took a different approach to selecting a spring rate. Rather than using a cumbersome spring rate generator, we set up the store to select the default spring rate for a 170-200 lb rider. Customers can select optional spring rates based on their weight by clicking on the next firmer or softer rates. “We worked very hard at taking the guess work out of buying suspension. By making the store easy to navigate, using an intuitive spring rate selection process, and ‘everything included’ pricing, customers can be assured they are getting the product they want, professionally installed and no surprise ‘Additional Charges’.” Look for the GMD Computrack Boston educational video series this winter. Topics covered will include setting sag, selecting a spring rate, fork and shock service, Computrack measurement process, initial chassis set up, and more.
