Danny Eslick, Larry Pegram, Jeffrey Heininger, Gavin Gracyk, Adam Bonneur Advance, North Carolina (October 8, 2013) – Motorcycle industry celebrities and insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories. Danny Eslick, AMA Pro SuperBike and World Superbike – Michael Jordan Motorsports Eslick wrapped up the 2013 AMA Pro SuperBike season in 5th place overall with ten top five finishes. He and his team chose to skip the final AMA Pro Racing round to race in the World SuperBike races at Laguna Seca. In WSBK he did better in race 2 finishing in 14th after starting in the 11th spot on the grid. In 2012, Eslick raced for Erik Buell in his rookie AMA Pro Superbike season. He has won multiple championships including the 2009 and 2011 AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Championships and a 2010 Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. www.23race.com Larry Pegram, AMA Pro SuperBike – Foremost Insurance Racing Pegram finished off the 2013 season the same way he started the season, on the podium and in third place. The final podium at Laguna Seca topped off a season on a bright note and left him 6th overall in the AMA Pro SuperBike standings, one spot better than his 7th overall in 2012. He scored 11 top ten finishes during the season. This was his first season on a Yamaha, after completing the prior two years on a BMW, and prior to that on Ducati. Pegram is the star of the reality TV show, Superbike Family. www.pegramracing.com Jeffrey Heininger, Chairman of the Board – AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Jeff’s been involved in the motorcycle world since his Dad started Webco back in 1954. He was raised in Southern California and became an avid off-road rider, worked in his Dad’s business and eventually worked into many significant motorcycle “milestones” throughout his early career. From Ascot to 6-Days to Baja to the Carlsbad Motocross Gran Prix, Jeff was involved at one level or another. Now he donates his spare time to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame located in Pickerington, Ohio where the AMA is HQ’d. Jeff resides in Bellingham, WA where he manages his own business, Heininger Holdings which creates and sells unique travel products for people on the road. www.motorcylemuseum.org Gavin Gracyk, Arenacross – Team Faith Several years have passed since Gavin was competing in the AMSOIL Arenacross series. After a few successful years of racing in the Canada and several top 10’s in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Gracyk returns to the Arenacross series in 2014. He’s signed with Team Faith, who provides church services at the events. Last year the team finished on a high with a Jeff Gibson’s second place in the points championship. Gibson retired from Arenacross and Team Faith hopes his replacement on the team (Gracyk) can better their results in the coming year. www.teamfaith.com Adam Bonneur, GNCC XC1 Pro Making the jump to the premier class in GNCC is always a big one. 2013 marks the first year for Adam in the XC1 class and he brought with him the 2011 and 2012 Open A Championships. Although he’s had some mechanical hiccups and a few crashes he’s scored mostly top tens all year. He sits ninth place in points with two rounds remaining.
