Watch “Win-Win Weekend” As The Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Team Presents Its Video Recap Of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Cypress, CA – October 7, 2013 – The World SuperBike weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca saw two of the best motorcycle road racers in the U.S. (if not the world) go head to head in the final race of the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike season. Sunday’s race was a “win-win” for the Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha team, as Josh Hayes took the checkered flag with the victory and his teammate Josh Herrin won the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike Championship. For Herrin, it was his first professional road racing title, which made the celebration at Sunday night’s AMA Pro Road Racing Awards Banquet that much sweeter. As, he enjoyed the evening with his family, including his fiancée Teesha, and his SuperBike-title-winning crew, Herrin clutched his custom-made Dunlop guitar and reflected on the amazing season he had, as well as his entire career racing for Yamaha. As for Hayes, it was his 8th SuperBike win of the 2013 season, and also, his 8th consecutive pole position, which completed a season sweep of poles for the Mississippi Madman. On Sunday night, he celebrated with his crew, but he also had a bit of bookkeeping to attend to, which you’ll see in the video recap.
