Newly-crowned AMA Pro National Guard Superbike Champion Josh Herrin, age 23, will race in the FIM Moto2 World Championship in 2014-2015. Herrin made the announcement moments ago during the AMA Pro Road Racing award banquet at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, but he did not say which team he would be riding for. Herrin told Roadracingworld.com that he cannot reveal the name of the Moto2 team he will be riding for until the team makes its official announcement, but he will begin testing with the team in Malaysia in two weeks.
