Second home race for the NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team The San Marino race track will be the scene for the 13th round of the MotoGP World Championship for the Gran Premio Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini. NGM Mobile Forward Racing Team heads for the team’s second home race of the season at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. In MotoGP Colin Edwards wants to continue with the positive streak of the last few races in qualifying and get closer to the ARTs and fight for top CRT with his FTR – Kawasaki bike. Second home race for teammate Claudio Corti, who is now fully recovered from the crash suffered at Brno and is more motivated than ever for this weekend’s race at Misano. In Moto2 our riders look forward to a good weekend at Misano with their SpeedUp bike: Simone Corsi aims for the podium after a fantastic race at Silverstone. Alex De Angelis is ready to deliver a good performance at his home race for his fans. Mattia Pasini and Ricky Cardús are both very hopeful for this race after the modifications done to their bike in the last few races, which could very possibly allow them to put up a good fight. Colin Edwards “Looking forward to Misano, second home race for the team and that’s always entertaining with some friends, sponsors rolling around. We had a good result there last year and now our package is better this year so looking to improve on that. We’ve have had a good run for the last few weeks so we just need to keep that momentum going and looking forward to it.” Claudio Corti “Second home race for the team and for me. I come from a difficult last race since I wasn’t able to finish the Brno race. At Silverstone I had trouble finding the right setting for the bike, probably also because I was not yet completely recovered from the crash. I have been training and have made a full recovery and feel ready for Misano. The track has been a bit more complicated for me since they decided to modify the direction in which we ride but it’s the same for everyone and we have to try and be as fast as we can. My goal is to recuperate the positive trend that we had up until Brno and finish in the points before we leave for overseas back-to-backs races.” Simone Corsi “Its always a pleasure to race in Italy, there is a particular atmosphere. I am confident for the race; we have been working a lot and really well in the last few races. The goal is to be back on the podium!” Alex De Angelis “Let’s hope that my home track will provide me with that little extra something that will help me deliver by best result yet. I enjoy the Misano track a lot, its both a beautiful track and it allows riders to provide the fans with good fights. I can’t wait to be out on track, I hope to see a large crowd!” Pattis Pasini “I can’t wait to be at the race track in Misano. More than ever I want to do well because it’s my home race, its always special to race in front of my family, friends and fans. In the last few races we have made progress and Misano might just be the right track at which restart this second half of the season.” Ricky Cardus “I look forward to the Misano race. We have done several little modifications on the bike and I hope to do well this weekend. I have trained a lot and I believe I can do a good result. I can’t wait to be out on track.”
