Dunlop motorcycle announces additional social media channels BUFFALO, N.Y. — Dunlop motorcycle has expanded its social media with a variety of additional ways for North American motorcycle riders to interact with the popular tire brand online. In addition to its Website (www.dunlopmotorcycle.com) and YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/dunloptireschannel) the company has added an integrated social media presence, which includes brand profiles on Twitter (www.twitter.com/RideDunlop) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/RideDunlop). Dunlop’s expanded social media presence represents the tire maker’s increased commitment to interacting with riders in new and exciting ways. “As the largest supplier of original equipment and replacement motorcycle tires in the U.S., riders across North America know the Dunlop name,” said Mike Manning, Dunlop’s general manager of marketing. “We interact with riders face-to-face at races, rallies, shows and other events, so increasing our involvement in social media is a great opportunity to get to know our customers even better.” Through its new social media channels, Dunlop will be able to interact with riders across North America while providing them with a wide array of relevant, tire-related content and insider racing information. The Dunlop Twitter account, @RideDunlop, provides an outlet for the company to share real-time updates at events, along with the latest product news and announcements. The company will also share a variety of news, photos and promotions on Facebook, and video highlights of products and events will be frequently updated on the Dunlop YouTube channel. To support this new effort, Dunlop has also added Chris Wagers to its motorcycle tire marketing group as the company’s interactive marketing specialist. Wagers will oversee Dunlop’s motorcycle social media platforms and online communications for North America. “I’m very excited to join the Dunlop motorcycle team,” said Wagers. “This industry is filled with passionate and dedicated enthusiasts, and I look forward to interacting with our customers through Dunlop’s new social media channels.” About Dunlop Dunlop is the largest supplier of original equipment and replacement motorcycle tires in the U.S. and the only manufacturer of motorcycle tires in North America.
