A weekend of severe weather in the Houston area came to a halt just in time for the 21st annual Houston Ride for Kids on April 28. Over 250 participants gathered for event, which had raised $239,681 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at ride time. The event’s Stars were the 10 local brain tumor survivors who led the ride in the Humble area: Javier, Leon, Nick, Noah, Garrett, Michael, Kaitlyn, Jake, Ethan and Trent. Making life better for these Ride for Kids Stars is the reason motorcyclists across the country ride for the PBTF, which funds medical research and family support programs to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.
