Yamaha U.S. Road Racing Teams Re-Cap Daytona Success With Three Videos Cypress, CA March 25, 2013 – When you’ve won 22 Daytona 200 races like Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has in the past 41 years, there have obviously been a lot of iconic and memorable moments for Yamaha during Daytona Bike Week. And, among those, 2013 will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the crossed-tuning-forks brand’s most successful outings at “The World Center of Racing.” From Cameron Beaubier’s first career Daytona pole position and the Rolex Daytona Cosmograph wristwatch that goes along with it, to the 1-2 finish in the Daytona 200 for Cameron and Garrett Gerloff aboard their Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha YZF-R6 Daytona SportBikes, to the breakthrough Race 1 win and Race 2 second-place finish by Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider Josh Herrin in the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike races, there was a lot of success to celebrate for the Yamaha U.S. Road Racing Teams and its fans. To celebrate, as well as commemorate, all the Yamaha success, we’ve put together three videos. The first one is about Cameron winning the pole for the Daytona 200 and being presented with that sweet Rolex. The second video is a re-cap of the Daytona 200, which also includes an interview with Don Emde who won the Daytona 200 in 1972 aboard a Yamaha TR3 and set in motion an unprecedented, unbeaten string of 13 Daytona 200 wins for Yamaha. And the third video is a recap of the two SuperBike races at Daytona, which also includes an interview with three-time, defending SuperBike Champ Josh Hayes, who gives his thoughts on Daytona directly from the high banks of the Speedway: http://youtu.be/xPFk2TdZLlI http://youtu.be/2bw7agh-XNQ http://youtu.be/j4cxM3fxujk (Editorial Note: These videos have already been uploaded into the video gallery of this website, Roadracingworld.com.)
