American Ace ‘Tommy Aquino’ joins Team WD-40 AMA rookie of the year and Daytona SportBike race winner Tommy Aquino will be racing in the British Superbike series for 2013. Aquino will be riding number 31 on a GR Motosport-prepared Kawasaki ZX-10R in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 championship back by The WD-40 Company. Tommy will ride alongside teammate Jon Railton #40 Superstock 1000 who won his first event last weekend at Brands Hatch. The team plans to participate in the entire British series with an eye on the Superstock Championship Title. Aquino brings with him the experience of running up front in one of the most competitive classes in motorcycling, 600cc Daytona SportBike and is looking forward the new challenge of riding the 1000cc machine. Aquino will continue his long time relationship with Cortech leathers and Shoei Helmets in his new venture overseas. Tommy Aquino: “It’s going to be a great year of racing and learning with Team WD-40.
