ASRA Kicks Off Sprint And Team Challenge Championships This Coming Weekend At Roebling Road Raceway

ASRA Sprint and Team Challenge Series Round 1 Sanctioned by AMA March 9-10, 2013 Roebling Road Raceway Bloomingdale, GA 2013 ASRA Championship Chase Begins This Weekend Bloomingdale, GA – The AMA sanctioned ASRA Championship Series rolls into Roebling Road Raceway this weekend to start the 2013 season with a bang. Racing action kicks off at 11:30am Saturday with the 75 lap Team Challenge followed by 6 Championship Cup Series events and qualifying for the ASRA Sprints. Then Sunday features a full slate of racing with 2 USGPRU Sprints, 3 ASRA Sprints and 14 Championship Cup Series races to make sure everyone gets their fill of championship motorcycle racing. The opening round of the Team Challenge Championship brings defending Overall Champion Chester Auto Repair and the 2012 GTO Champions Thrashed Bike Racing together again renewing their rivalry in 2013. Defending GTU Champion RnR Repsol faces off against XRay Racing, who fell just 1 point short of the GTU title in 2012.With 75 laps of racing, it will be anyone’s guess who will bring home the win at Roebling Road Raceway On Sunday March 10th, defending SuperStock Champion Tim Bemisderfer will make the trek from Pennsylvania to start his quest for another ASRA National title. Joining Tim will be 2012 SportBike Champion Mark Miller Jr. and 2011 ThunderBike Champion Ray Hofman, both riders looking for a second title in their respective classes for 2013. Also on the entry list are CCS Champions Ricardo Valdez and Jim Cohrs, insuring that victory in the opening round will not come easy for anyone.
