Colorado Springs – The legendary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, America’s second-oldest motor sports race behind the Indy 500, has launched a brand-new website ahead of the 91st running of the race. The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation received the support of the design team at Vladimir Jones, a Colorado Springs full-service advertising and digital agency in creating a stunning, fresh new look for the PPIHC website. Fans of the race can go to www.ppihc.com to enjoy the new look and enjoy pictures, videos, the latest race news as well as an interactive timeline, according to PPIHC Director of Development Lincoln Floyd. “The overall quality and appearance of our new website will greatly enhance the experience for visitors to the site,” said Floyd. “Fans, news media and others will be able to interact with the site more than ever before, and be able to see pictures and videos, all the latest news, list of competitors, an interactive timeline, and, eventually, results from every race dating back to the inaugural in 1916.” The PPIHC Facebook site, which now numbers 25,517 fans, one of the city’s top stops and viewed across the U.S. and in as many as 25 foreign countries, has been refreshed and offers a wealth of information, news, opportunities for dialogue among fans, and information for fans, sponsors, drivers, racers, the news media and history buffs. The PPIHC Facebook page is: ~http://www.facebook.com/pikespeakhillclimb~ for those current users or others who want to join.
