Tigert, Herbert To Race For Baby Appleseed/Cyclemall Motorsports In 2013 AMA SuperSport West Series Experienced AMA Pro road racer Jeffrey Tigert and talented club racer Neill Herbert will compete in the GECIO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport West series in 2013. Riding Cyclemall Motorsports-prepped YZF-R6s, the duo will be backed by Baby Appleseed, a baby nursery furniture company, Orient Express Racing, K-Tech suspension and Alien Motion batteries, says Tige Daane of Cyclemall. In addition, the team will have at its disposal the technical expertise of Rocky Stargel, the former AMA Crew chief for Chaz Davies team owner and tuner and who has operated his own teams in several AMA road racing classes. “I am really excited for this season, to go out and have some fun this year,” Daane says. “We have worked really hard to get the opportunity to come out and race this season. I wanted to thank our sponsors, especially Baby Appleseed, and thank Rocky for all his technical help to make it happen.” Cyclemall Motorsports will build and develop the bikes in-house and the development capabilities of K-Tech, which is establishing its reputation as a leading suspension manufacturer at the highest levels of international motorcycle road racing. Tigert has experience in AMA Pro Road Racing in the past, with 10 starts in Superbike and Daytona SportBike on his resume. In addition, Tigert is a force in West Coast club racing, landing the #1 plates in Willow Springs Motorcycle Club and AFM competition in consecutive years and battling for the overall Formula 1 lap record at Willow Springs. Herbert has been racing with WERA since 2008, with a pair of wins in WERA West competition on his resume.
