Baltimore, MD – MWR Racing owner Mike Rice wants to announce his team’s plans for the 2013 Road Racing season. After a very successful 2012 season during which his team finished third overall in the WERA National Endurance series and second in class, MWR Racing will once again be competing in 2013 WERA National Endurance series. MWR Racing riders will include 14-year-old Ian Tetrick, 18-year-old Cassidy Heiser, veteran rider David Ros, and Isle of Man TT racer James Vanderharr, who is a newcomer to MWR Racing. With this exceptional team of racers MWR Racing plans to exceed its 2012 results. Tetrick finished fourth in Lightweight Superstock and sixth in 600cc Superstock Cxpert National Championships. MWR Racing with MRP Motorsports are working hard with Ian Tetrick at developing his skills as a rider to progress to a professional level in the AMA. After a brief hiatus due to being shot in the neck while serving in the line of duty as a Baltimore Police Officer, Team Owner Mike Rice will return to compete in the WERA National series and will strive for a complete year of racing. MWR Racing would like to thank its 2013 sponsors for this upcoming race season: MWR Investigations Inc., MRP Motorsports, Penske, K&N Filters, Bel-Ray Oils, RK Chains, Vortex Racing, Armour Bodies and DAO Apparel.
