Break Out the Student IDs! 20% Off General Admission Tickets at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca MONTEREY, Calif., January, 23 2013 With a university, two junior colleges and numerous private and public high schools within just miles of its facility, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is now offering 20 percent off general admission tickets for all 2013 race events. “California Sate University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) have been strong partners with us over the years,” said Gill Campbell, CEO/general manager of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. “We wanted to reward their students, as well as others in the area, with a break on admission prices. They’re working hard on their grades, so we want to reward them with a little R&R on race weekends.” Students can choose from five world-class events: American Le Mans Monterey (May 9-11); Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, featuring the MotoGP™ World Championship (July 19-21), Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion featuring Chevrolet Corvette (Aug. 16-18), Continental Tire Sports Car Festival, powered by Mazda (Sept. 7-8) and FIM Superbike World Championship, Monterey Round (Sept. 27-29). Monterey Salinas Transit provides free transportation during race events with accompanying race admission ticket to the Laguna Seca Recreational Area on four different lines from Carmel/Carmel Valley, Monterey, Seaside and Salinas making getting to the track extremely efficient and affordable for students. Additionally, during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix free parking is available at CSUMB on Sunday July 21 with special bus service to and from the race track. The 20 percent discount is available to students with valid identification and may not be applied to previous purchases or combined with any other offers. It is applicable for advance purchases only and not available at the gates on race days.
