After considering a shift to focus solely on running his new AMA Pro Supercross race team, David “Aussie Dave” Anthony has decided that he will continue road racing as the only rider on his AMA Pro Superbike team in 2013. “At this stage, as far as contracts go and everything, I’ve signed them and we’re going road racing. It’s a done deal,” Anthony told Roadracingworld.com Monday. “We managed to link the Supercross and road race programs together, sponsor-wise. So 90% of my sponsors that are involved in the Supercross program are involved in the road race program. Everybody sort of jumped in.” Anthony said he will continue with the same Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superbikes he raced with in 2012, but the big difference will come in the structure of Motosport.com/ADR Racing (the name of both his Supercross and road race teams). “It’s just going to be me and a crew of my best guys,” said Anthony, “instead of having a million people floating around.”
