RoadRace Factory/Red Bull Team To Continue With Beach, Gagne And Puerta In 2013

The RoadRace Factory/Red Bull AMA Pro Road Racing team is planning to continue with J.D. Beach, Jake Gagne and Tomas Puerta riding Yamaha YZF-R6s in 2013, according to an e-mail sent to Roadracingworld.com by Team Owner Danny Walker.

Beach, a 21-year-old former Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Champion, placed sixth in the 2012 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Championship with two podium appearances and 17 top-10 finishes in 19 races. He will continue in the Daytona SportBike class.

Gagne, another former Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Champion, was 11th in the 2012 AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Championship, but the 19-year-old Californian captured the team’s first Daytona SportBike victory in Race Two at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He will continue in the Daytona SportBike class.

Puerta, a 20-year-old native of Colombia, finished third in the AMA Pro SuperSport East Championship with five podium finishes and a best result of second place in Race Two at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He will continue in the SuperSport class.

Walker’s 2013 team will not include 17-year-old Hayden Gillim, who finished second in the AMA Pro SuperSport West Championship with two victories and seven podium appearances while riding a RoadRace Factory/Red Bull Yamaha.
