Pit Pass Motorcycle Talk Show Jake Zemke, Sammy Halbert, Florian Neuhauser, Jake Weimer, Blake Baggett, Josh Strang Advance, North Carolina (October 9, 2012) – Top talent and industry insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories. Jake Zemke, AMA Daytona Sportbike Rider – Ducshop Racing Ducati Jake finished out the season this past weekend on his Ducati 848 at NOLA in New Orleans in 7th overall in the Daytona SportBike class. He put in a solid season performance with seven top five finishes and 15 top ten results. In 2011 he took the pole position and finished 3rd in the Daytona 200. He won both races at Daytona International Speedway in 2010 and was the 2008 Formula Extreme Champion. www.facebook.com/pages/JAKE-ZEMKE-FAN-PAGE/309492898372 Sammy Halbert, Pro AMA Flat Track- Sammy Halbert Racing This has been an awesome year for Sammy and the season is winding down. So far he’s had four wins and that’s more than anyone in the series. Due to a DNF at the Springfield Mile, Jared Mees leads the points and it looks like the championship will come down to the last round at Pamona, California on October 13. Sammy is a former AMA Pro Sport Hot-Shoe National Champion, 2006 AMA Ricky Graham Rookie of the Year, 2009 Overall Grand National Champion, and 2011 Grand National Singles Champion. http://www.facebook.com/SammyHalbert Florian Neuhauser, RoadRunner – Ducati MultiStrada Review Florian is just back from Bilbao, Spain where he tested the 2013 Ducati Multistrada. The Audi-owned Italian manufacture is slated to be including influences from their auto parent company. The 1200 cc bike is rumored to have an improved ABS system, an updated next generation Testastretta engine, improved looks and Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS). Florian will provide a snapshot of his thoughts on this impressive touring bike. www.roadrunner.travel Jake Weimer, 450 Motocross/Supercross- Monster Energy Kawasaki After a solid full first season on the 450, Monster Energy Kawasaki just re-signed Jake to another two-year deal. This year in Supercross he managed to qualify for every main event with the exception of Indianapolis. He put in several great rides including podium finishes. In the Outdoors this summer he kept plugging away to finish third in the series. www.jakeweimer.com Blake Baggett, 250 Motocross/Supercross- Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Blake just returned from Belgium where he, alongside Ryan Dungey and Justin Barcia, represented Team USA in the 66th Motocross of Nations. The three of them put together inspiring rides but it fell short of taking home the Peter Chamberlain Trophy. They finished third overall in the unique sand track that offered an experience nothing like any national tracks in the U.S. This year has been outstanding for Blake where he finished fourth in the Supercross East Coast Lites and won his first ever 250 National Championship in the Outdoors. www.blakebaggett.com Josh Strang – ISDE, Endurocross, WORCS Racer Following six days of intense racing at the 2012 International Six Day Enduro in Saxony, Germany, Josh Strang led the charge for Moose Racing with his native Australia finishing in second place in the World Trophy standings. As an individual, Strang impressed many with his top-test finishes throughout the week, eventually helping him to finish sixth in the E2 class and ninth overall, giving Strang a well deserved individual gold medal. This past season the former GNCC Champ raced in the WORCS Series and hit some select Endurocross rounds. After a rough start to the WORCS season due to an injury sustained at the final GNCC round last season Strang finished the season on the podium at the final WORCS round. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=532317336793895&set=t.521952315&type=3&theater#!/RacerJoshStrang?fref=ts Crew at Pit Pass Moto Scott Casber, Tony Wenck, Ed Kuhlenkamp, Jack DeLeon.
