Pro Italia Presents Café Desmo 2012 on September 30th to Celebrate 25th Anniversary GLENDALE, CA Pro Italia Motorcycles, one of the country’s foremost sport bike dealers, announces Café Desmo 2012, the Southern California Italian Sport Bike Event, as part of its 25th anniversary celebration. Bill Nation, Dealer/Principal of Pro Italia, said, “Café Desmo has been a hugely popular event for Pro Italia since we opened in 1987, attracting thousands of people and hundreds of bikes. This year, for Pro Italia’s 25th anniversary, we’re working to make it the very best bike show we’ve ever had. Since we’re now a Triumph dealer as well, we’re appealing to a broader group of motorcycle enthusiasts to show their bikes and experience the event firsthand. In addition to a drawing for a new Triumph Steve McQueen Special Edition, we’ll have special bike and vendor displays, food trucks, celebrity bike judges, and special deals on apparel, service and accessories.” For 2012, Café Desmo will feature: A bike competition featuring categories for Italian Superbikes, Italian Supersports/Sport Classics, European Naked Bikes, Café Racers (including British, Japanese and American), Italian Vintage and British Vintage (pre-1987). Cash prizes and custom trophies will be awarded for the top three bikes in each category, plus Best In Show.
