The third annual Washington State Motorcycle Hall of Fame will be honoring road racer Bruce Lind and motocrosser Pat Jacobson at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 21st at the Emerald Downs Horse racetrack in Auburn, Washington.

Bruce Lind, who rode with passenger Jack Hart, won AMA National sidecar road racing Championships in 1981, 1983 and 1985 and finished runner-up in the 1982 and 1984 Championships. They rode a Yamaha TZ750-powered rig. Bruce has also won solo sprint races in each decade from the 1960s through 2010s. He has accumulated 21 Championships over the years while racing in America, Canada and New Zealand. Lind continues to race as he approaches his 65th birthday in October.

Pat Jacobson was a top motocross racer in the Northwest and raced very successfully as a privateer in the AMA 125cc National Championship. Pat had just signed a factory Suzuki contract when he suffered an injury at his first race that forever sidelined him.
