MOB Racing is proud to announce that Jake Holden will be piloting one of the team’s Vance & Hines Harley Davidson XR1200X racebikes in the AMA Pro Road Race event September 7-9 at New Jersey Motorsports Park alongside #46 Shane Narbonne and local Team Pro-Motion racer #32 Bill Sink. A new team sponsor, who prefers to remain anonymous, reached out to Jake this past week after reading of his retirement on Roadracingworld.com, and after a short conversation and a few calls he was on board and enthusiastic after seeing the success the team has been having of late. MOB Racing’s success in the XR1200 class includes podium finishes at Barber and Mid-Ohio (our first two rounds in the series) and two pole positions in a row with two different riders – Mike Barnes at Mid-Ohio and P.J. Jacobsen’s dominating qualifying performance at Indianapolis this past week. Team owner Dennis Espinosa says, “I read of Jake’s retirement and thought, ‘That sucks. A great guy who gets raw deal after raw deal.’ We’re gonna make sure MOB Racing gives him the tools he needs to get the job done right! He doesn’t deserve to go out like that, he has more to offer and we’re gonna see that at NJMP!” Shane Narbonne again heads out in DSB on the #46 Yamaha R6 looking to make his mark at NJMP! Christian Cronin takes to the track on the teams #23 Yamaha R6 in the Supersport class. Four riders in three classes….we’re ready! A special thanks to our new sponsor who was pivotal in putting this together, Newsholme Financial Center for stepping up again, Teterboro RAMS LLC, Team Pro-Motion, Designstar3.com, Motion-Pro, Saddlemen, Get-in-Gear, Markbilt, Trebour Motorcycles, Penske, K Tech, Orient Express, Vanted Solutions, Precision Heavy Equipment, Woodcraft and Armour Bodies. Stay tuned as we plan to end this season on a HIGH NOTE with exciting news!
