“Sprockets On Speedway” Scheduled For August 17, In Speedway, Indiana

SPROCKETS ON SPEEDWAY EVENT AT INDIANAPOLIS MOTOGP Race fans will have another entertainment option while at the Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP this year. In partnership with the Town of Speedway Chamber of Commerce, the Indy Desmo Owners Club is hosting a Bike Show and Street Party on Friday evening, August 17, 2012. This annual event will feature an amazing collection of motorcycles in the shadow of the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Town of Speedway recently redeveloped their Main Street and the town is the new home for the Dallara IndyCar Factory, the Indy Racing Experience, the Zipp Speed Weaponry factory, and the future home of Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing. The event will include live DJ, raffles, and bike show. Food and drink will be available from local vendors. Main Street in Speedway will be open to Motorcycles Only and plenty of parking will be available. A $5 per bike event fee will be collected to cover the entertainment and bike show. An open-category Bike Show will be judged and the top ten machines will be rewarded along with a Best in Show award. Entry into the Bike Show is included with every event fee. All makes and brands of motorcycle are welcome.
