Yamaha Star Garrett Gerloff to Visit Yamaha Champions Riding School 17-year-old phenom prepares for return to racing TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (August 7, 2012) “” Garrett Gerloff, a rising star in American motorcycle road racing, will join the Yamaha Champions Riding School at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, on August 13-14, 2012. Gerloff, who rides the No. 8 Yamaha YZF-R6 for the Yamaha Extended Service/Graves/Yamaha team in the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike championship, has been out of action since March, when he crashed during practice for the season-opening Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway. After fourth months of rest and rehabilitation, the 17-year-old Texan will ride his Graves R6 at the Yamaha Champions Riding School to shake off the rust and prepare to resume his climb up the ladder of racing success. The Yamaha Champions Riding School operates with a single goal: to give its students what they need to drastically improve their riding.
