MOJOTOWN MOTORYCLE GEAR SHOP MOVED to DOWNTOWN SAN RAFAEL!! Three years ago Michael Aron, owner of the Mojotown Multi Media design agency, rolled the dice in a down-economy and opened up his first retail store, The Mojotown Motorcycle Gear Shop. The store was located on E. Francisco Boulevard in San Rafael, an industrial thorough-fare near the 580 interchange. “Opening up my own retail shop has always been a dream,” remarked Aron. “The last three years out on the freeway were great, but the location lacked foot traffic. It was a cool shop, but only die-hard riders really came in. We want to expand our customer base and found a great location in the heart of Downtown San Rafael of 4th Street – it’s one of Marin’s hippest streets filled with cool boutiques, galleries, great food and nightlife. We want to support and revel our rider community, and this is a perfect location to do that.” Michael grew up riding around Marin County and is actively involved in both the AFM and MCMA (American Federation of Motorcyclists and the Marin County Motorcyclist Association). He has been involved in road-racing, on multiple levels, for over twenty years, and in 2007 he won an AFM championship title in the Formula III class aboard a Honda RS125. Recently, Michael has become more active as a sponsor to upcoming racers. The new gear shop is centrally located at 1417 4th Street, San Rafael between streets D & E. The shop has lots of FREE parking in back, so avoid the meters and park in back of the shop (parking entrance is on D St)!
