Kern Sweeps Podium at Roebling Road Raceway CCS FL/SE – Bloomingdale, GA by Lisa Theobald Nate Kern won the Unlimited Grand Prix race and put his BMW S1000 RR on the podium three times at Roebling Road Raceway this weekend. The grids were small in the most action packed race of the weekend with a tight battle for all the front runners with Kern and Rodolfo Ramirez swapping positions constantly and Jeff Lampe and Andrew White fighting for third behind them. Behind them, White and Lampe were constantly swapping positions in the battle for third. The top four ran a tight race up to the finish, and until White crashed out in turn one with just one lap to go. Kern maintained his advantage to take the checkered flag with Ramirez, Lampe, and Ken Wilson behind in order. Kern also won the GTO and Unlimited Superbike races. And Ramirez won the Unlimited Supersport race earlier in the day and also finished second in Unlimited Superbike. UNLIMITED GRAND PRIX RESULTS: 1. Nate Kern (BMW S1000RR); 2. Rodolfo Ramirez (Suz GSX-R1000); 3. Jeff Lampe (Kaw ZX-10R); 4. Ken Wilson (Yam YZF-R1); 5. Andrew White (Suz GSX-R1000).
