NOLA INAUGURAL EVENT & JULY WITH WERA! The month of June will end with the first motorcycle road race at NOLA in Louisiana on the 29/30 of June and 1st of July when the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series and the Michelin/WERA National Series bring the show to the new NOLA facility. This will be the first weekend of racing at the new venue and will launch NOLA into the venues hosting motorcycle road racing in the US! There is a WERA practice day on Friday as well as the qualifier for the 600 Superstock Expert race, which will run Sunday. July will then continue with a Sunday-only Pirelli/WERA West Sportsman Series presented by Lucas Oil at Buttonwillow on the 8th. Fastrack Riders will host the Saturday prior to this event. The Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series moves to Grattan Raceway in Michigan on Sunday, July 15th with a double points paying round. July 21/22 has the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series at Roebling Road in Faulkville, GA with a double header sprint weekend. Also in the month of July WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will help AMA with their famed Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio on the 20/21/22 weekend WERA points are available for the North Central Region in Vintage and like WERA Classes running with the AMA at VMD. All entries for this event must be made through AMA in Ohio. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing.
