Hopefully, I can do the same thing in the races. Cameron’s Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha teammate Tommy Hayden, who is riding an R6 emblazoned with his signature #22 for the first time this season, used his vast experience and the added karma of his trademark competition number to put himself on the front row, just one bike over from Cameron. Tommy said, “We tried a few things this morning to try to go faster for this afternoon’s race, so that went well. So far, this has been my most competitive weekend of the year. I’m looking forward to today’s and tomorrow’s races. Daytona SportBike Race 1 is scheduled for this afternoon at 2:00 PM CST, and DSB Race 2 will go green tomorrow at 2:15 PM CST.
