AMA Pro Racing Retains Services of New Sales Consultant Industry Veteran Rick Mitchell Brought on Board to Bolster Sales Effort DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 22, 2012) – AMA Pro Racing announced today that it has secured the services of industry veteran and former racer Rick Mitchell as a Sales Consultant. Mitchell brings a wealth of experience to AMA Pro Racing, having held sales and marketing positions for a number of highly-respected brands in the motorcycle industry over the past three decades. In his early career, Mitchell held roles as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for IBCO, Inc. and the National Sales Manager for Motorcycle Industry Magazine before beginning a successful career with American Honda Motor Co., Inc. in 1986. He climbed the ranks over his 23 years with the Torrance, Calif. based company, retiring in 2009 as the Assistant Manager for the Motorcycle Parts Sales & Marketing Department. Prior to working as a consultant for AMA Pro Racing, Mitchell most recently worked for Erion Racing, Inc. as their Sales Manager, responsible for all aspects of the Sales & Marketing of Dunlop motorcycle roadracing tires in the Western Region of the USA.
