DENVER, Colo. (May 22, 2012) – M1 PowerSports and 21st Century Motoring, LLC, the exclusive U.S. distributor of the ultra-exotic MonoTracer fully-enclosed motorcycle, would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the fans that took part in the MonoTracer Charity Ride-Along Program at last month’s Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta presented by Dunlop Tire and LeoVince. Twelve adventurous riders took to Road Atlanta’s road course during the AMA Pro Road Racing National weekend and thanks to their gracious support, a total of $450 will be donated to the Roadracing World Action Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission of reducing racetrack injuries by advocating and promoting the use of soft barriers. “The Roadracing World Action Fund is an incredibly important charity and every dollar raised helps save a life,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “Knowing that we have such amazing Big Kahuna fans is what makes our job so much fun; thanks to each and every one of you for helping keep our riders safe.” “I would like to thank M1 PowerSports, AMA Pro Racing and Road Atlanta for their cooperation and help in making this program a success,” said Jim Lorimer, president of 21st Century Motoring. “I’d also like to give a special thanks to Doug Crawford of Jamie James Productions, which helped with a mechanical repair that made Sunday’s fundraising rides possible. And of course, thanks to the participants for their willingness to donate to this worthy fund; quite a few of them donated more than the minimum required amount!” Having had a successful launch, M1 PowerSports and 21st Century Motoring have begun working on plans to bring the MonoTracer to the Triumph Big Kahuna Miami at Homestead-Miami Speedway and the Triumph Big Kahuna New Orleans at NOLA Motorsports Park later this year. Look out for additional announcements in the coming months to catch your opportunity to sign up for these ultra-exclusive opportunities and contribute to the safety of motorcycle road racing. Originally spawned from Daniels Corporation under the name FAST, the fledgling company was heavily involved in television production for car and motorcycle racing. With the birth of Speedvision, FAST morphed into Race Promotion Management (RPM) and is now operating as M1 PowerSports with many of the same staff still in place. We still sell advertising for Speed, sell merchandise under the brand Moto 1 and promote our own events, keeping us busy year-round!
