Even More Sponsors Sign On To Support American Brandon Cretu’s Isle Of Man TT Race Effort
The ever improving American TT competitor, Brandon Cretu, has signed with more invaluable sponsors for his 2012 Isle of Man campaign. Continental Tire, Ohlins USA, Superbike Chassis LLC, and Delicious Racewear have all signed on with Cretu. With the Isle of Man less than two weeks away time is ticking, Cretu and his sponsors are eager to get racing!
Continental Tires is a long time sponsor of Cretu’s in the USA so it was only fitting for them to come on board with him at the TT. Cretu will campaign aboard their race spec DOT Race Attack line of performance tires. The Race Attack line combines superior grip with extended longevity, the perfect combination for a race like the TT which snakes through 37+ miles of countryside and towns on the Isle of Man.
“Brandon has been a welcome addition to the Continental family since he started testing our product in 2009 and officially started riding for us back in 2010. We are really excited to see our brand at the Isle of Man TT this year and know that Brandon will represent us well. We wish him a fun, safe, and successful TT this year!” said Continental USA’s Greg Reich.
Cretu has also signed with Ohlins USA and their race support/suspension tuning guru Lenny Albin of Superbike Chassis LLC. His HEL Performance/RevZilla.com CBR1000RR will be fully kitted with Ohlins suspension front and rear custom built and valved specifically for the TT by Lenny Albin. It will feature the Ohlins 30mm cartridge in the front forks and the Ohlins TTX shock for the rear suspension duties.
“I am pumped to have Ohlins on board this year and to have Lenny Albin working with me again. I worked with Lenny at the TT last year and after last year’s success I know he can build a proper suspension package to ensure I can achieve my best results. Now with a top quality product like Ohlins on my bike and Lenny building it I have no excuses when it comes to suspension! We install the suspension next week and I can’t wait to put it to the test!” says Cretu.
