FOGI Racing To Use Opportunity At Miller Motorsports Park To Build On Existing Program FOGI Racing to attend remaining Spanish Championship with Aquino at Catalunya Halifax, NS FOGI Racing continues to build on its team and plans for the remaining 2012 Season although prior commitments may keep the team from attending Round 3 of the Spanish Championship at Aragon. Prior commitments from Moto2 pilot Tommy Aquino will have him riding the SGA, KATRA, and the Yamaha Champions Riding School R6 during the Daytona Sportbike class at Miller Motorsports Park on May 25th 27th. “It is a difficult decision to miss the Aragon round of the Spanish Moto2 Championship with Tommy, but this was a unique opportunity for Tommy which was previously discussed. We will also use this time to build exposure about our Spanish Championship efforts to other riders and teams in North America” said Andrew Murray, Team Manager of FOGI Racing’s Spanish Championship team. FOGI Racing looks forward to Round 4 of the Spanish Championship in Catalunya where they continue to promote their successful rider development program and hope to find a second rider who would be interested in piloting the additional FTR Moto2 machine for the remainder of the season. Aquino was asked recently about the AMA opportunity at Miller Motorsports Park and he replied, “I’m excited about this opportunity to race the SGA, KATRA and Yamaha Champions Riding School Yamaha R6 at Miller Motorsports Park but am eager to return to the Spanish Moto2 Championship with FOGI Racing to continue to develop the program and possibly work towards a world championship debut with them” FOGI Racing’s Ben Young will be continuing his AMA Daytona Sportbike debut season as he attends the Miller Motorsports Park event and looks forward to a strong finish. Young has continued to spearhead the FOGI Racing Rider Development Program in North America and is very happy with his progression during the 2012 season. FOGI Racing’s Spanish Championship team will use the next few weeks to continue to try and scout a second rider to join Aquino and the team for the Spanish Moto2 Championship, while at the same time building the FOGI Racing brand at Miller Motorsports Park, wishing Aquino and Young a very successful race weekend. For further information on the FOGI Racing team and how you can be a part of this program please contact Andrew Murray at (902) 499-3610 or [email protected]
