Team Rotobox/Nexx is proud to announce that Tyler Linders has joined our team for his first AMA Pro Road Racing event this coming weekend at the Great Clips West Coast Moto Jam held in Sonoma, CA at Infineon Raceway. Tyler just celebrated his 16th birthday a few weeks ago making him eligible for AMA Pro Racing competition. He has progressed rapidly from a WERA West 125 championship in 2011, setting a lap record on an SV650 with WSMC in 2011, and most recently notching his first expert win on a 600cc machine in Las Vegas with WERA West. Linders has his sights set on the MotorcycleSuperstore.com Supersport class now and the team is proud to have him represent us on the national level. Having raced with current team members, Bryce Prince and Luke Lucky Huff at the club level, Tyler will be right at home amongst friends for his AMA debut. His Yamaha YZF-R6 is all prepped and ready to go and Linders is psyched to turn some laps as a professional motorcycle road racer for the first time. Watch for the #48 Team Rotobox/Nexx Yamaha R6 on the Supersport grid this weekend! Jose Jube (Rotobox Wheels USA& Nexx Helmets USA): “Tyler was a Nexx Helmets sponsored racer prior to his addition to the team and we’re proud to see him make progress through the club racing ranks to arrive at the AMA Pro level so quickly. We know Tyler will do us proud at Infineon and look forward to his 2012 season.” Tyler Linders: “Nexx has been a great helmet sponsor for us and have always supported everything we do. We’re happy to see that relationship continue to flourish as my career progresses to the professional level.” Luke Lucky Huff (Team Rotobox/Nexx): “We’ve seen Tyler come up through the 2-strokes, twins, and now on the 600cc bikes and excel at every stage. His skill to quickly adapt to changing set up, new tracks, and his competitive spirit will serve him well throughout his career. Linders is one of the most professional and intelligent young racers I’ve encountered which matches his on-track behavior.”
