Mladin Set to Attend Great Clips® West Coast Moto Jam on Sunday, May 6 SONOMA, Calif. (April 30, 2012) Mat Mladin, the most decorated rider in AMA Pro Road Racing history, will attend the Great Clips West Coast Moto Jam on Sunday, May 6. This marks one of the few AMA Pro Road Racing events Mladin has attended since retiring in 2009 as a seven-time AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike champion. Mladin now lives in Oakdale, 90 minutes southwest of Sydney, Australia, and is a sheep rancher and also enjoys flying planes, among his many hobbies. Sonoma race fans will be treated to a rare Q&A with Mladin at the raceway on Sunday, May 6, in the Wine Country Winner’s Circle at 11:45 a.m. Mladin holds a number of records at Infineon Raceway, including SuperBike wins with nine. His nine wins tie him with Miguel Duhamel for all-time AMA Pro wins in Sonoma, regardless of category. The Great Clips West Coast Jam, May 4-6, will feature the best in AMA Pro Road Racing with seven main events over the weekend, including doubleheaders in AMA Pro SuperBike, GoPro Daytona SportBike and Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport.
