Bob Cole passed away on April 14 of cancer. Bob was a founder of the U.S. Marshals, and a pioneer in corner-working techniques. He was always conducting research on new clean-up material and was the first to find an oil absorption material to clean up oil even in the rain. Bob contributed quite a bit to motorcycle racing. His legacy lives on in his son, Scott, who is a corner marshal at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. Bob Cole was born and lived in Malden, Massachusetts and died at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Massachusetts. He was 58 years old. A private service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 21st.
