50 teams already registered for first round of Bike Trackday Trophy Series set for flying start at Cadwell Park season opener The newly-formed Club MSV Bike Trackday Trophy has announced a list of 50 teams registered to complete in the debut season of the new series, which commences at Cadwell Park on Sunday 29 April. Further rounds are scheduled to take place at Snetterton (Bank Holiday Tuesday 5 June) and Brands Hatch (Saturday11 August) before the series returns to Cadwell Park for the final round of the inaugural year on the Saturday 6 October. Races are available for solo riders (45 minute race) and teams of up to four riders (three hour race), with both taking place on one day. There are also trackdays with testing sessions the day before each race meeting to ensure all riders are fully prepared for their first race weekend. Both races are aimed at novice and inexperienced racers so all teams competing must include at least one novice licence holder. Club MSV Manager Alex Baker commented: “We’re delighted with the interest in the series and are all looking forward to the the first round at Cadwell in just three weeks’ time where we can meet all the teams and riders taking part. We have a great team on board to run the events including some staff from the British Superbike Championship, so riders will certainly be in safe hands. I think we (the Club MSV team) are as excited about the new series as the riders themselves!” For more information on the Club MSV Bike Trackday visit www.biketrackdaytrophy.co.uk, email [email protected] or call 0843 453 3000.
