Kling, Wisdom & Tobolewski Take USGPRU Wins at Carolina Kershaw, SC April 15, 2012 Gorgeous, warm sunny weather greeted riders in South Carolina this weekend as the crowd poured into Carolina Motorsports Park for USGPRU, ASRA and CCS road racing action. USGPRU Moto3 Judging by Saturday’s qualifying times Moto3 would be the USGPRU race to watch. In Qualifying Palmer Kling laid down a 1:44.159, nearly a half-second ahead of Casey Tobolewski and Scott Coccoli. Kling did not disappoint, taking the lead from the green flag and laying down 1:42’s and 1:43’s almost every lap. Only Coccoli could manage to stay within a second of Kling’s lap times. It was Kling from Coccoli at the checkered flag. Alex Wisdom was third. Wisdom’s margin of victory was 10.339 seconds. Adrian Jasso was third on the podium aboard his Yamaha 250 after leading all but the final lap. Jasso aced the start and lead by a couple seconds when his motor seized on the backstretch. Jasso was able to get of the track yielding the win to Wisdom with only four corners to the checkered flag. MD250 Casey Tobolewski got the drop on Alex Wisdom from the start of the MD250 race. Although Wisdom stayed close he was not able to threaten for the lead. Tobolewski, who finished second in USGPRU 250 GP, said he got a good start and just put his head down aware that Wisdom was a threat. Tobolewski’s best lap time came on lap one with a 1:47.272.
