Dwyer sweeps Jennings GP CCS Florida – Jennings, FL April 1, 2012 By Lisa Theobald Sean Dwyer, riding a KWS-built Suzuki GSX-R1000, swept his classes during the CCS Florida event April 1 at Jennings GP, in Jennings, Florida. Dwyer won all four of his races, including the Unlimited Grand Prix, after nabbing early leads and not looking back. Bruno Silva, Jeff Lampe, Reese Wacker, and Fernando Silva rounded off the top five in the Unlimited Grand Prix race. This event was a first time for the brothers Bruno and Fernando Silva to compete against each other, and both finished in the top five. On the podium, Dwyer exclaimed, “I feel good on the bike, my training is going real well, and the Dunlop tires were kicking some serious butt!” On switching back to Suzuki from BMW, he stated, “KWS built me this Suzuki and the thing’s been really on rails. Thermosman hooked it up. We’ve just been trying to find a setting I’m real comfortable with. We’ve been getting better a little bit at a time. And, I like it a lot better than I did last year, and I’m getting my confidence back to where we were in 2010.” He went on to thank his sponsors, including Riders Discount and Millennium Technologies. Dywer also won the GTO, Unlimited Supersport, and Unlimited Superbike classes. Steve Wenner was the big winner of the weekend with five first-place finishes in the lightweight classes.
