DENVER, Colo. (March 22, 2012) – This Saturday night in Athens, Georgia, M1 PowerSports is throwing the Big Kahuna Bikini Barcode Bash to locate Georgia’s most enthusiastic motorcycle road racing fan. The three-round contest will pay out $500 in cash prizes to the top three finishers, with the overall winner representing M1 PowerSports as Miss Big Kahuna when AMA Pro Road Racing and the Triumph Big Kahuna return to Road Atlanta on April 20-22, 2012. The event will also feature guest appearances from world famous motorcycle racers including World Champion and five-time Daytona 200 winner Scott Russell. “At M1 PowerSports, we always strive for the best,” said Cameron Gray, CEO of M1 PowerSports. “In order to find Miss Big Kahuna, we’ve decided to partner up with Barcode, the best bar in Athens. They have an excellent reputation and a very good clientele that is sure to be interested in seeing the return of the Big Kahuna to Road Atlanta.” Miss Big Kahuna will be featured as the face of M1 PowerSports for the 2012 Triumph Big Kahuna Atlanta. VIP experiences will include seeing the riders off from pole position on each grid, standing on stage during each victory lane ceremony to hand out the trophies and representing M1 PowerSports at all of the exciting off-track activities throughout the race weekend. “We are very happy to once again be partnering with Cameron Gray and M1 PowerSports,” said Chad Fallows, owner of Barcode. “I’ve worked with Cameron in the past on the original Big Kahuna Nationals at Road Atlanta, and we’re looking forward to even bigger and better things this year and beyond. We’re thankful for the support of the great sponsors we have involved in this promotion, which are giving us the chance to include awesome drink specials and giveaways all night.” Barcode is the premier bar in downtown Athens, located at 166 E Clayton St, Athens GA, and will host the Big Kahuna Bikini Barcode Bash with support from ATH Nightlife and A10tion. Originally spawned from Daniels Corporation under the name FAST, the fledgling company was heavily involved in television production for car and motorcycle racing. With the birth of Speedvision, FAST morphed into Race Promotion Management (RPM) and is now operating as M1 PowerSports with many of the same staff still in place. We still sell advertising for Speed, sell merchandise under the brand Moto 1 and promote our own events, keeping us busy year-round!
