Five-Time Daytona 200 Winner Scott Russell, Yamaha Racers To Sign Autographs March 16 At Daytona International Speedway

Yamaha Champions Riding School’s Scott Russell Signing Autographs in Daytona “Mr. Daytona” joins Yamaha stars at AMA Pro Road Racing Season Opener TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (March 14, 2012) “” Fans attending the AMA Pro Road Racing season opener at Daytona International Speedway this Friday, March 16, will be able to get autographs from “Mr. Daytona” himself. Scott Russell, who was the 1992 AMA Superbike Champion, the 1993 World Superbike Champion and a five-time winner of the historic Daytona 200, will be signing autographs with other Yamaha racing stars at the Yamaha display at the speedway. Russell, who now instructs for the Yamaha Champions Riding School (YCRS) based at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, will sign YCRS/Scott Russell hero cards from 11:15 a.m. until noon on Friday along with Tommy Aquino, who will be racing this weekend on the No. 827 SGA Racing/Yamaha Champions Riding School Yamaha YZF-R6 in the Daytona 200, the season opener for the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Championship. Also signing autographs will be Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha’s AMA Pro Racing National Guard American SuperBike riders Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin. Hayes is the two-time and defending American SuperBike champion, and Herrin was a Daytona SportBike series standout and 2010 Daytona 200 winner who has moved up to the premier class for 2012. Yamaha Extended Service/Graves/Yamaha’s AMA Pro Racing Daytona SportBike riders Cameron Beaubier and Garrett Gerloff will also be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.
