Chris Ulrich Racing has reached a two-event sponsorship agreement with Broaster Sales & Service of Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is one the world’s largest distributors of Broaster Chicken food products and equipment. Under the terms of the agreement, Broaster Chicken logos will appear on the #18 Superbike ridden by Chris Ulrich and, in cooperation with Team Hammer, on the #5 Daytona SportBike ridden by Dane Westby during the Daytona and Mid-Ohio rounds of the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing Series. Both bikes will be run under the M4 Broaster Chicken Suzuki banner at Daytona and Mid-Ohio. “I’m excited to be working with Broaster Sales & Service,” said Chris Ulrich. “My company is already working closely with Team Hammer, which is why my Superbike is running in M4 graphics. When Broaster Sales also wanted Broaster logos on a Daytona SportBike, it made sense to include Dane and his bike in the deal.” Broaster Sales & Service is owned by former road racer Kirk Reuille. “I’ve kept up with the sport since I retired from racing 20 years ago, and I’ve been looking for an opportunity to get involved again. I reconnected with Chris Ulrich at Mid-Ohio last season–he was one of the kids in the paddock back when I was racing his dad John Ulrich–and the timing couldn’t have been better. I wanted to do something, I had the resources available and we were able to pull it off. I think it would be great for other regional companies to get involved in AMA Pro Racing. If they can’t do a deal with a team for the entire season, then do a one-race or a two-race deal. Hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things for 2013.”
