RoadRace Factory Announces May 7th at Infineon Raceway Kart Track as Date of Inaugural RoadRace Factory School The aggressive road race school based on the principles of American Supercamp provides a unique learning experience FORT COLLINS, Colo. (March 8, 2012) – RoadRace Factory has confirmed Monday, May 7th, 2012 at Infineon Raceway’s kart track as the inaugural RoadRace Factory School, meaning that aspiring road racers finally have a platform where they can receive top-tier instruction by some of the best motorcycle road racing talent in the world. The school will take place on the day after Infineon Raceway’s West Coast Moto Jam, the third round of competition on the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing calendar, and will be instructed by American Supercamp founder and former AMA Pro Danny Walker, as well as RoadRace Factory Red Bull Team riders JD Beach, Tomas Puerta, Hayden Gillim and Jake Gagne. RoadRace Factory School students will be instructed by international race winners and champions on how to push the limits of their equipment in order to hone their reflexes and gain a deeper understanding of the dynamic between riding style and bike control. The Infineon Raceway kart track is an ideal training ground for riders to master the mechanics of piloting a race bike through the turns of a road course while in a lower-risk environment. Instruction will focus on body position, trail braking, picking up the throttle early, maximizing drive, weighting the foot pegs and getting comfortable with sliding the motorcycle. “RoadRace Factory School was created to give road racers a place to build on fundamentals and enhance rider skill in an environment with less risk than a traditional road course,” said Danny Walker, Founder of RoadRace Factory School and American Supercamp. “The concept for RoadRace Factory came from an idea of training road racers using Supermoto-style equipment and teaching Flat Track fundamentals to give them a complete understanding of how to control their motorcycle.” In order to provide a personal level of instruction, the class size has been limited to 20 entries. Participation in this first-time event is affordably priced at $600, and riders only need to bring good-condition leathers and a desire to learn in order to get on track. Students will participate on school-provided Yamaha WR250Fs equipped with XT Racing lap timers, and each student will also be supplied with a GoPro HD HERO2 camera to capture their experience in stunning high-definition video. To join in on this experience and be one of the first elite riders to graduate from the RoadRace Factory School, applicants can head to American Supercamp’s signup page at ~https://secure.cnchost.com/americansupercamp.com/signup_new.html~ and choose the RoadRace Factory Infineon Raceway option from the camp dropdown menu. ABOUT ROADRACE FACTORY SCHOOL: Over the past 15 years, American Supercamp has trained most of the top American road racers using a core philosophy: the key to advancing a rider’s skill is to have them push the limits of themselves and their machinery. During that time, American Supercamp chief honcho Danny Walker has often been approached about instructing a Road Race School, but felt it would be very difficult to get students to be able to push their limits and advance their skills on a standard road course using full-size race bikes without the consequences of a mistake being severe. RoadRace Factory School has been designed specifically to allow riders to push their limits, understand their reflexes and modify their riding habits in an environment where the consequences of mistakes have been minimized. Utilizing the Yamaha WR250F’s on smaller, slow road racing courses allows the riders to do just that. RoadRace Factory, the one and only road racing school where it is okay and accepted to fall down.
